Hong Kong Named World's Freest Economy for 21st Year in a Row
For the 21st consecutive year, Hong Kong has been ranked as the world's freest economy by the Heritage Foundation. A Hong Kong Government spokesperson said Hong Kong is committed to the free market principles which are the foundation of the city’s sustained economic stability, growth and prosperity. Asian Financial Forum
The 7th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) was held in Hong Kong in January and brought together more than 2,000 influential players and business leaders from around the world. Permanent Court of Arbitration provides arbitration services in HK
With its robust legal system, wealth of experience in arbitration and its common law system, Hong Kong is ideal for conducting international arbitration. The establishment of a framework to facilitate the conduct of dispute settlement proceedings administered by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Hong Kong amounts to a vote of confidence in the city and its legal system.
